According to the UEFA decision, the tournament will retain the name Euro 2020, despite the fact that due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed to the summer of 2021, from 11 June to 11 July.

There are many predictions about who will take the main prize pool. Picking a winner really hard to choose however, can be done in a more professional manner, it might be a good idea with help from credible strategies from football prediction sites.

However, some interesting alterations have been made regarding the host and the prize money.
Formally, the euro is normally hosted by a single country, but interestingly, the Euro 2020 for the first time in history will be held across the continent, hosted by twelve countries, with the final set to be played at the Wembley Stadium, London.
In war, there is no prize for runner-ups. However, in Euro 2020, apart from the fame and glory of representing your country in one of the biggest football competition on the planet, passion and hard work is also rewarded with a cash prize.

So, here is the breakdown of the EURO 2020 prize money:

Participating Countries:

A total amount of three hundred and seventy-one million Euros (€371,000,000) have been budgeted as the cash prize to be shared among the twenty-four (24) qualified countries. Each of the 24 countries will receive a whooping sum of nine million, two hundred and fifty thousand Euros (€9,250,000).

Matches Won or Draw In the Group Stage:

The most fascinating thing about UEFA is the ability to motivate each country to participate in the tournament. And one of the ways they have achieves that is by remunerating teams monetarily.
Therefore, for every match won or drawn in the group stage of the tournament, one million and five hundred thousand Euros (€1,500,000) and seven hundred and fifty thousand Euros (€750,000) respectively will be received by the affected team without any hassles.

Knock Out Stage:

The higher you go, the tougher it becomes, and the higher the reward. Therefore, €2 million, €3.25 million, and €5 million will be given to teams that find themselves in the round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final respectively an addition to the money previously earned by the team.
Also, people often say no one remembers the runners up but UEFA Euro 2020 does. However, there is a prize for both the winner and runners-up of this tournament!
The winner will pocket a sum of €10 million while the runners-up will go away with €7 million. Also, this money will be added to money previously earned by the team.

Additionally, UEFA intends to preserve the original perception of the tournament and celebrate its 60th anniversary.
It is also expected that the title will remind the difficulties the football family in Europe went through in 2020.
