Real Madrid offered Mbappe a 6-year deal of 40 million euros.

Real Madrid has extended a six-year contract to PSG striker Kilian Mbappé, offering him approximately €40 million each season. Madrid is hopeful about signing the 22-year-old French national team member when he becomes a free agent at the season’s conclusion.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said that the team would attempt to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kilian Mbappé during the winter transfer window.

“Hopefully, everything can be sorted on January 1,” said Perez to El Debate. “My words were misinterpreted. What I said is that we have to wait until next year to hear from him, always with respect to PSG with whom we have good relations,” added Real Madrid president later.

On the other hand, Real’s main target has not reduced the chances of staying at Paris Saint-Germain. Try your luck with Just Spin Casino to wager on what Mbappé will decide.

PSG wants to retain Mbappé and extend his contract, which expires on June 30, 2022. Due to his contract, he may start negotiating with other clubs in January 2022.

What said Mbappe?

“I’ve been in football long enough now to know that yesterday’s truth is not necessarily today’s, nor tomorrow’s. If I was told that Messi was going to play at PSG, I wouldn’t have believed it, so you never know what’s going to happen,” said Mbappé in an interview with RMC Sport and L’Equipe.

Regarding Spain’s interest, he said, “Real made an offer. When I say that lots of things were heard, I’m talking about something else – people said that I turned down six or seven renewal offers, no way!”

“I thought that my adventure with PSG was over. I wanted to discover something else. I’d been in the French league for six or seven years. I’ve given what I tried to at Paris, and I think I’ve done it well. If I had left this summer, it would have only been for Real.”

Is a deal possible?

Mbappe has been linked to Madrid since 2012 when he was 14. After leaving AS Monaco in 2017, the Blancos wanted to get Mbappe, but he decided to join PSG for €180 million, a world record price for a youngster.

22-years-old Frenchman confirmed he notified PSG of his desire to quit the club in July.

“I wanted the club to receive a transfer fee to bring in a quality replacement. I said it early enough so that the club could react.”

“I wanted everyone to come out of this stronger, that we leave hand in hand, to make a good deal, and I respected that. I said, if you don’t want me to leave, I will stay.”

“We’re talking with PSG at the moment, and everything is going well,” told his mother, Fayza Lamari. Despite Fayza Lamari’s remarks regarding Mbappe possibly renewing at PSG, she says her son’s ambition is to play for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has said that PSG forward Kilian Mbappe would play for Los Blancos and that it is just a matter of time.

Fabio Capello, the former Real Madrid boss, said, “They’ll need time to build a strong team. Madrid needs a couple of central defenders.” He thinks Real Madrid doesn’t require Mbappe at this point.

Mbappe gives all of his national team award money to charity.

Forward of Paris Saint-Germain gives all of the award money he receives while playing for the national team to a charitable organization. According to GFFN, the striker has given about €1.5 million over the last four years.

Mbappe made his French national team debut in March of 2017. He scored 17 goals in 49 appearances and helped France win the 2018 World Cup.
