The EPL match will be shown live in VR

The EPL match of the 12th round between Crystal Palace and Tottenham will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event on Sunday, December 13. The London derby will be shown in virtual reality for the first time in the history of the Premier League.

“Sky Worlds is a fantastic example of how technology can help replicate real-life experiences and create truly transformative viewing experiences, something that is so important right now given the limitations fans have attending live events in person,” said Matt McCartney, Head of Immersive Technology at Sky.

Jose Mourinho’s team has 24 points and is leading the Premier League standings, ahead of Liverpool by additional scores. The “Eagles” has 16 points and are taking 12th position in the table.
